ROMULUS CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT- Anticipated Assistant Principal
Qualifications: New York State Certification, SBL or SAS and SED Fingerprint Clearance
Salary: Starts at $75,000 and commensurate with experience
General Responsibilities: The Assistant Principal assists the Principal with the organization, administration and supervision of all activities connected with the school.
The successful candidate will possess:
• A successful record of experience as an instructional leader who is excited to and loves working in the educational field;
• A track record of successfully improving learning experiences for students and enhancing home/school communication;
• Knowledge of current research-based practices and programs for teaching, learning, student support, assessment and data analysis;
• A strong ability to work with all aspects of building leadership, while working well under pressure;
• A commitment to character education and other programs to enhance students' educational and social/emotional growth;
• A knowledge of restorative and trauma-informed practices when handling student discipline;
• A skillful, empathetic communicator with a sense of humor.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and/or Superintendent.
Romulus Central School District encompasses more than 88 square miles of beautiful landscape located between Seneca and Cayuga lakes in the heart of the Finger Lakes. The District is comprised of one PK-12 building with a student population of approximately 450 students.
